2007-05-21 Just a little note, as I couldn´t help but wonder how different the perception of something can be. I think from my blog it is quite clear that I really like this city. I would probably say I am in love with it and have never lived somewhere else that had half the energy or charisma.

From a small town in Germany to London, how did that happen? Well the story started in Bremen in 2001, where I began to study European Marketing at the FH Bremen. This course included a year of studying abroad. I had the choice between Cain, Granada, Glamorgan and Leeds. It was always clear for me I would go to England. So following the first three semester and one internship in Germany I moved to Leeds in 2003 to enter the final year of a BA(Hons) course in International Business. During this year I really started to love the English way of life and coming back to Germany I just knew I had to go back. There were two things that made this decision relatively easy for me. I found a partner in London and by the time I finished university in Germany I had a distance relationship with him for the last 1 and a half years and we wanted to move together.
